Jordyn Stoessel (she/her/hers) is a multi-disciplinary theatermaker with a flair for disruptive art that challenges convention and embraces risk. She uses playwriting as a tool to forge community through storytelling with fellow queer folks and women. Her plays have been developed through Boston University’s S.T.A.M.P. (2021), SheNYC's 2022 New Play Festival, The Chain's 2024 Winter One Act Festival, the RE/Venue Project (2025), and more. She has been recognized as a finalist for the 2022 Moxie Arts Incubator Cohort, the 2023 NAPSeries Festival, The Heartland Theatre’s 2024 10-Minute Play Festival, and Breaking and Entering’s 2025 Summer Rooftop Reading Series. Jordyn is a member of the 46 Minutes Fall 2025 Writers' Group. She holds a BFA from Boston University's School of Theatre. When I’m not being super creative, you can find me crying at the inscriptions on park benches or scrolling through the NYT Cooking app for hours at a time.
